Radio Man selected for the SheNYC Festival!

I am honored to have my play performed at the Connelly Theater (off-Broadway!) this summer with SheNYC alongside an incredible cohort of women & non-binary artists.

Over the next few months, I'll be developing a comedy about The Donner Party with the writing group Under Construction, facilitated by The Road Theatre in LA. I'm honored to be working alongside this incredible cohort!

Directing with 938 Collective!

I am so excited to get started with directing Uncertain Egg-Town, a short play about some supercilious hens, for 938 Collective's Short Play Festival. This piece is written by Suzan Averitt and will be performed April 28th & 29th.

Radio Man is a "Second Rounder" at Austin Film Festival

My play Radio Man is a "second rounder" in the playscript competition at the 2022 Austin Film Festival, meaning it ranked in the top 20% of this year's submissions.

Insertion is returning to
B Street in Summer 2023!

I am so honored that my play Insertion was named the winner of the 2022 New Comedies Festival, and will receive a full production as a part of B Street's mainstage season next summer. This will be my first premiere and I can't think of a better home for this play!

I will be a part of the acting company for the 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, coming up at the end of July. This is the first time Nationals has been presented in-person since 2019!

Sarah named a 2022 Ascending Playwright

I am so honored to have been selected for this mentorship program facilitated by Yonder Window Theater Company. I will be working with the Playwright in Residence, the Artistic Director, and a company of actors on my play The Laundry Play.

A new work development project with playwright Alexa Derman

Sarah directed a staged reading of The Eliza Script by Alexa Derman, the culmination of Alexa's playwriting residency at Kenyon through StageFemmes.

Playdate Theater is producing Hangups!

Hangups will receive its first production virtually with Playdate Theater's virtual festival Find a Way Or Make One, starring Hayley Orrantia (ABC's The Goldbergs) and Marcus Scribner (ABC's Black-ish). The production is directed by Mark Feuerstein (The West Wing). The performance will be streamed on August 9th at 8pm EST as a fundraiser for two crucial organizations, Color of Change and the YWCA's Covid Relief Fund. Click here to donate and get your link!
